United Flights Restart After Computer Problem
United Airlines said a computer problem affecting its weight reporting system had been resolved and that flights were returning to normal.
The system-wide problem stopped all United departures late on Thursday and into Friday morning.
“As of 3 am ET (07.00 GMT/UTC) the system issue has been resolved. Any delayed flights are resuming and we apologize again for the inconvenience,” United said on Twitter.
Given the timing of the computer problem United said only a small number of flights were affected.
